The real problem with Tom Cruise is that, no matter how insane he is, no matter how much of a zealot he becomes, we still love him because he's a) beautiful, and b) a genuinely talented actor.
So I guess we're stuck with him. But I agree that we don't need to hear about beliefs on such a regular basis. I'm proud that he is entirely unwilling to be seen as some sort of cultist, and in some way he does deserve a modicum of respect for that.

I can't stand the guy, but he is correct in that sex is much better when you have good communication with your partner.

Anyone that's tried to SLIP it in the other end will attest to that. It's better to ask and be turned down, than to NOT ask and have her scream and leave the room while you're standing there with wood.

He plays himself in every movie he's ever made. I've never seen him act in a different character.

No denying he's made a few good and interesting movies over the years, but he's no "talented actor" IMO.
