I'm at about 7 minutes from montreal anyway. Laval has become quite big too with it's own little ''downtown'' and 3 brand new subway stations so if you don't have a car, you can go with the public transportations without any problem. You can really find everything that you need. Traffic is a bit heavy to and from the island but I guess you get use to it. And well, downtown Montreal can be REALLY messy too.


What's cool of living direclty in Montreal is that you can basically walk everywhere and the night life is awesome. But, it you have a car, especially in winter...it's a nigthmare.
