hey, how's it going, this is Zester from GFY, you mind sharing with your opinion on Moniker ?
Tranza (15:34):
I've had one single problem with them. But I considered this to be a pretty fucked up one. I had my Godaddy account hacked once, and all my domains where stolen. After this hacker/scammer did this, he parked my domains using a parking service from Moniker to redirect my traffic and make money. After I tried to contact Monikr several times about this, so that they would close his account, they simply ignored me. I was able to get my domains back a week later anyway. But what shoked me is that they simply didn't care at all. Also, whoever did this already hit quite a lot of GFY webmasters, doing the exact same thing, and Moniker NEVER closes this scammer account.
Tranza (15:35):
Cliff notes: they support scammers.
U (15:36):
any idea how the godaddy account got hacked ?
Tranza (15:39):
There are 2 ways they do this.
1- They send a fax with some false documents stating that they are the owners of that domain and want to move it to another GoDaddy account
2- They simply hack you password.
Tranza (15:40):
If you do a search on GFY you'll see that MANY people have been fucked by this exact same scam in the past. And they ALWAYS use Moniker to park the domains stolen.
U (15:42):
kind of a shelter for scammers.... Moniker
U (15:43):
i see
Tranza (15:43):
Yep, that's it.
U (15:43):
so you've been working with namecheap and had no problems with them ? for a few years now ?
Tranza (15:47):
Yep, I've used them for quite a while, and just recently I moved all my domains to them.
U (15:48):
sounds good, thanks for the time mate
cheers
Tranza (15:48):
No problem. See you later man.

Hey Tranza,
Who did you contact here at Moniker to get that issue resolved? Getting domains hacked from Go Daddy is serious and (at the time) Moniker?s monetization service (TrafficClub) had a very strict approval policy. I can?t imagine that no one from Client Services dept. helped you out with this. I am sorry.
