I rented it, and watched it yesterday. Needless to say, I'm going to be buying it now. I was automatically interested because it's from the mind of Stephen King. I had expected an ending like that, and almost guessed the ending, but not quite. Definitely a great movie. Stephen King is one of my favorite writers. Oh, did anyone notice the little shout out to John Carpenter in the movie? Damn, got to love it. For those whom have seen it, what did you think? For those of you who didn't see it, you need to.
I watched "The Mist" yesterday.

It was a great ending. Really fucking crazy, though. That would be royally screwed up.

I saw it recently and I have to say, there is some truth as to how people would act based on an apocalyptic scenario............I'm talking about that religious biatch (not insulting anyone's beliefs here!), and also how the lack of faith ended up in such a silly killing in the end, at least that's how I saw it...
Overall an OK movie, wouldn't watch it again though...

I have been contemplating on whether to watch the movie or not. Although Steven King is one of my favorite writers and I have read nearly all of his books I find that when made into a movie the story often looses a lot of it's luster.Comment

Stephen King is great. I suggest seeing the movie.Comment

Yep, sad fucking ending in emo style. In the original King's story the end is absolutely different. As far as I remember (I was reading it about 15 years ago) everyone dies, but not like fuckin' crying emo morons.
Always read the original

One of his best book to movie adaptions for sure. I love the fact they didnt sugar coat the movie like some of his other work. Worth a watch for sure. But if your looking for an author who never dissapoints, try Dean R Koontz. You wont be sorry. No doubt one may quote history to support any cause, as the devil quotes scripture.

Wonder what happened to that guy? I don't remember seeing his dead body any where. At first, I thought he was the one caught in the spider webs in the pharmacy, it was one of the soldiers, though.Comment
