Non-nude site for 17-year old? Is this shit legal?
Some guy just told over ICQ that he?s running non-nude site for some 17 year old. I don?t know how legal that would be but fuck we all know who joins sites like that?
What?s your opinion????
It is legal.
They should really wait another year though.
I personally do not find it as appaling as some do. Though I would never run one or promote one.
Now you say we all know who joins sites like that, please do share.

Well who do you think? None-nude site with underage kid? Pedos!!! Why would someone else join sites that advertise under the legal age agenda?
Non-nude is acceptable "in the abstract" but you cannot promote any of it via porn, otherwise the entire site could become illegal. The idea is context - if you promote it the wrong way, it can become a form of suggested child porn.
Porn sites & underage non-nude models is a really, really bad idea.

Getting off on a 17 year old is far from a pedo.
Hell in most of this country you can legally fuck a 17 year old, you just can not take a picture of them nude.
There's one other issue that no one's brought up... a 17 year old (in the US, at least) can't legally enter a contract, and his/her parents are responsible legally for everything. If the kid is running a site, or participating in one, hasn't told Mommy and Daddy, and they find out, my guess is that whomever is promoting the site/managing the site will find their ass in serious trouble, whether there's any adult content or not.
Legal or not, some prosecutor somewhere will find a reason to make a big publicity deal out of it and charge you with "contributing to delinquency" or something... you don't really want to be hauled in front of a jury and have some prosecutor talk about your porn businesses and then accuse you of "grooming" this kid... the jury will lock you away and throw away the key.

There's a lot of stuff I won't touch even though it's perfectly legal. This happens to be one that I don't want to touch in any way. Maybe mommy and daddy are OK with their daughter making some money but I'm not.
It's cute if teenage boys are joing the site because they're fans of the girl but I don't think that's the target market.
If she was 16, and hot, i'd bang the shit outta her !!
Numbnut, I?m not talking about banging her while you?re in high school, Im talking about making money off some 45 year old weirdo with wife and kids that gets turned on by looking at underage girls
I can't believe the word "pedo" was even mentioned in this thread. Some people are so unbelievable.
If you looked at this girl at 2 seconds before midnight with her b'day being the next day, this guy would think you were a pedo for those 2 seconds, then.. Woop.. She's 18 now.. no longer a pedo...
Matt, the law says there is a difference between 16&17 and 18. Society has set a bar, and that bar is what we must live up to, simple as that.
I cannot control what my surfers think - but I can control myself from promoting minors.
Alex
I completely agree....
But if suddenly tomorrow it became legal to film 14 year olds...
I bet within a month we would find hundereds of sites and videos with 14 year old girls in them.

Glad you said it. I was thinking the same thing. If she's 17, she doesn't really have the rights yet to take part in a business without the consent of her guardian.

Meanwhile "Teen" sites along with the associated majority of them who use promotion language such as "Barely Legal" "Sweet" "Tiny" etc. etc. happen to be the largest promoted category of porn sites on the net. Does this Money Tree site look familiar? http://www.niceandyoung.com
If she is non-nude then WTF are you blabbering about? Trying to look "politically correct" like everyone else who makes noise about non-nudes, right? I bet you have a TON of teen porn in your cache buddy.

I'm fascinated to know what started this alleged icq conversation.
Your question is if it is legal. It depends where the site is produced, the content of the site and if a guardians permission is needed, provided the model is not emancipated. If everything is done according to law, then of course it is legal.
There's even a chance that the girl is over 18, but marketed as a 17 year. And for the love of all things holy think of a different word besides 'pedophile.'

You would think that would be hard coded in webmasters minds by now.
