Nothing is wrong with condado.....but coming from a person who lived in San Juan, you'll have a better time in Isla Verde....There is no real party action in Condado compared to Isla Verde and Old San Juan.....
So if you want to either take a cab or drive everytime you want to go somewhere and hang out, Condado will do just fine.
