Level entry host. Cheap, but support is slow (between 3 and 6 hrs in my experience). lots of goodies (1-click wordpress install etc)
- OC3 Networks:
Great service. If you need dedicated servers, look no further (OC3 and AdultEUhost both rock)
- DWHS:
Good host.
- Servage:
Very sloooooooooooooooow host. overselling... but if you need some space to store some static pages, you could give them a try. (Don't even think about running anything dynamic on a servage account...) Did I mention their servers are slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow?
- Desirespace.com:
I haven't used them but I've heard good things about them.

This Q can't be easily answered, it depends on what you want to host. Movies? Big Movies? Streaming? Pictures?

Beware of all those who offer unlimited bandwith but have only 10Mbps. Don't get fooled by "free hosting", nothing in this world is really free. If a deal sounds too good to be true it probably is. Bandwith is higly overrated. 200 GB are sufficient in the first 6 months. Hey, if you only host photo galleries even shared hosting may do. For high traffic and bandwith-intensive content you need preferrably a dedicated Pentium 4 2,8 Server with 1024MB and 100Mbps, and they cost MONEY. Pentium4 3,0 cost even more. Absloute mimimum for an average site to start out with is a sever with 512 MB Celeron 2,6 where you can move up to a Pentium4 for free when you need.

Once your sites kick you can move up to a even faster server and more transfer. There are other important things to consider. Do they offer free MySql? Control panels? Is the company reputable or a re-re-re-seller located at PO Box 301 in easter pipi land? Once your paysite is on their server your ass is theirs, at least for a while. How is their support when the server shits the bed on a Friday night? Better go with a reputable company and pay more, quality costs money. My2 cents.

Dreamhost were ok, but I couldn't get Comus to install for the life of me over there. I'm now with HostHead and am seriously happy with them.

EV1 is a very professional company and managed by very down-to-earth in person but very business intelligent people. I've had the pleasure of meeting their CEO and a few of their other employees in Vegas a few years back when I did business with EV1. They know how to run their company, that is for sure.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

Whats wrong with Dreamhost?? I've been with them for years and they have always been 100%. Another company - Endreamhost / TheDreamhost.net on the other hand is a bunch of lying cheats who will cancel you for complaining about downtime and they change their mind about adult site policy.
