                                                                  300:1 contrast is pretty muted.. You won't notice it if upgrading from a cheap monitor but if you put it up against a quality Dell you would throw it away.

                                                                                      22 inch monitors are all cheap TN panels. I'm pretty sure there's not "one" that isn't a cheap TN panel. You can get a 24 inch for not a whole lot more and quite a few of them are not cheap TN panels.

I got a dell 30" for $1200 over a year ago. I hated it btw. IT was too big to use duals and I hate widescreen anyway. I got two 21.4 standards. Seem to be the biggest standards made.
