totally depends...we talking a AMF setup?

or a generic done by a smaller company/contractor

theres probably 2 guys (small companies) in all of TN who will even do it for you....most of them are on a word of mouth basis with celebrities etc.

i wouldn't doubt you end up spending AT LEAST 75k for a proper setup....because you're going to want a computer score board & all too....i mean why go half ass

wish i had that kind of $ to piss away on bowling

I could deal with a generic set-up, I only spend about 6-8 months at the house - and it's near Ann Arbor, MI - could it be done for 20K or less and not be completely shitty?

        Yes
$19000 for the alley, balls and pins,
$1000 for a trained monkey that will stand the pins up and bring you your balls.

I dunno, but you have to admit a monkey is WAY cooler than the standard set up at a fraction of the cost.

Don't see why it would cost much more than 20k. There isn't a whole lot to a bowling alley.

Man, you have to love the game to put the whole thing in a house you live half a year.
                Good for you!
If I had my own house and if it were big enough, I'd put a pool and a ping-pong table on it.

Just buy a Nintendo Wii and the AMF bowling game

                  Wii - $249
                  AMF Bowling - $20
                  65" Windescreen TV - $2500

so for $2769, you're all set to have fun bowling
