As a mother, I could not imagine the heartbreak you and your wife are feeling.
Only consolation of mind is to think that G-d needed her back home. And that something worse could have been coming your way and He wanted to spare you from it. With a time like this... you will be blessed in the future.
It's hard to have the faith... but sometimes it is the only strength to pull from.
No I'm not religious... I just think that in times like these, what else do we have to reason? There is no logicial answer... So G-d strength it is.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Your post has made me realize who I am as a mother, good and bad. You helped me today.

I don't know if they are worldwide, but if not, they might be able to point you in the direction of a local support group.
There are also groups on the web that are directed at those who lose a baby so close after birth. I know you may not think you need it now, but sometimes it's nice to be able to say and hear things with people who understand exactly what you're going through

My sister just went through the exact same thing, only her baby lived for around 3 months.
It is always tough when someone dies, having someone so close to you and so new to your life can be unbearable.
