yeah.... lease is good till end of May.... she needs to have this place sold by November. Which means, if we haven't decided to buy it before the end of May, we're fucked. No new lease, and we start going through the whole showing-the-house bullshit again while we look for something else.
it sucks.... we literally got until the end of May to find a workable solution... or give it up.
