How Long Do Yahoo Listings Last Usually?

Currently I'm getting some great SE traffic from Yahoo to a page I designed a while back. I've submitted to their engine and others about once a month and I routinely get listed.

Does anyone know how often they update and it if is necessary to keep submitting the url to them like once a month?

I'm getting like 1000-1500 uniques a day from Yahoo to one url. I'm not complaining, the traffic quality can be good at times and it seems like more signups are coming in on Saturday and Sunday but not very many at all during the week. This Sunday is slower than last Sunday for sales.

I bet after April 15th is over things will get back to normal???

    Thanks.

oh man, you dont need to submit the same url to them, once your in your in for life. But updating the page is important to maintain your rank though, also incoming links and a bunch of other factors.

If you are #1 in Yahoo for a keyword it will usually last for months... 2 to 3... depends on when the next update is and when you got the listing.

You never have to resubmit a website after it is submitted. You need to read up on SE's... Once you are indexed, you are done as far as letting them know you exist... which is all submitted a URL to an SE is... Asking to be indexed... Perhaps no one else is linking to you.. So you submit so they know where to find you... If people do link to you, you don't even have to submit since they have already found you when they spidered your linking partners pages...

I know that not many are linking to the page now, maybe less than 5 or 10 sites. I know the page is built very SE friendly and that has to help. I hope it continues because there is no better feeling than sales you don't have to do a thing for

Anyone know a better online submit place besides submitcornet.com because they just changed their system to not have an online submitter to the major search engines. You could just enter 1 url and it would submit to like 25 engines at once.

Where can I find something like that again because I don't care about the some odd 100 or so engines that nobody uses

If those some odd 100 or so engines "that nobody uses" only sent you 10 hits a day that would be 1000. Some might do more, some might send none, but why pass on any free targeted traffic?

most engines dont like auto submitters.

get your site listed on an already listed site...the crawlers will do the rest.

yes, it's heavily indexed on Yahoo so should I just sit back and see what other engines pick it up?
