    pr0's movie review: V for Vendetta

    Usually i'll only come out & talk about a film when its really good, or really bad. But in this instance, i'm on the fence.

    The moral of the story & parallels to 1984 type society were right on the money and very thought provoking. So the basic story had some real weight.

    Natalie Portman put in a fairly solid performance (plus she's hot). However the character "V" was pathetic, his background story was pathetic...everything about it was lacking.

    I love movies that have a revolutionary/free speech type motive to them....so i'm probably ranking this movie too high based on that..

    Rating: 5.3 out of a possible 10

    Worth seeing in the theater if you catch the afternoon/cheap show, otherwise wait for the dvd.

                  I'm a big movie buff, i've seen almost every movie made. So my score system is probably a little different from the weekend watcher.

                  Like i said, the theme was great.....and natalie was solid, but the masked man was just silly
