This came to me after a heated arguement with church "elders"
There is no perfect religion
Man is still searching for the "perfect path to God"
The truth is Jesus (if you believe that he existed) was STILL SEARCHING

Each man and woman owes it to themselves to search for God's truth in their life.

Imagine there not being any religion.. No real reason to do right for the final judgement..

Many people need a 'roadmap' of sorts to get through life with the faith that in the end, greater things are in store..

I'm not talking about the people who use religion as an excuse to kill... These people are as lost as those with true faith and human respect would be without their religions...

All I can say on that is that I hope not

I think if he hated us things would be a lot worse. Also we wouldn't be able to acheive joy

Impossible. You can't be constantly in a state that is the opposite of joy, unless you have a something to compare it to. Therefore you need a balance. If everyone would be miserable all the time, then they'd have no idea about it as they'd have nothing to compare it to, so for all we know they could consider themselves incredibly happy. States of mind are relative.

God is an answer to the unexplainable brought forth by conscious intelligent beings. I highly doubt it's something specific to our planet or species. Since my second return to this Earth in 1947 at Roswell (yeah it was me - not those made up aliens the Govt wants you to believe in - they know better since they talk to my dad all the time) I have been watching for the appropriate moment to announce the coming - however we have another year or so before the entire world is in distress with all nations involved in war - until that time there will be smaller indications (floods, disturbences etc which have already started) however you'll know it when you see it. I would suggest you stop your nitwit Bush from thinking he's a king - there is only one although Bush is right - my dad does talk to him all the time trying to get him to stop.
Course that time when my dad was talking to Moses he almost made him shit his pants when he lit up that bush with his phaser - yeah Tom Cruise and his fellow Ronskiites are almost right about the alien thing but I wouldnt suggest running out and buying space suits yet - not too many are going to be left when dad comes down to check out the place from the looks of things.

A lot of the trouble people get into when arguing Religion is that they call it "fiction." Religion isn't fictional, it's allegorical. Once that is understood, it makes little difference whether any of it is factual or not.

Just think of it this way:

If there was some loving, powerful being (God) he wouldn't allow innocent children to be molested and killed.

I believe in energy. It's all around us. It never dies. It just changes form. Perhaps, in some way, energy has a sort of "intelligence". Ancient peoples trying to understand it likely came up with the concept of "God".
