The biggest problem, again, these are the 'sit at home and browse the internet' nerds who won't pay for things, and will make a firefox plugin to just block your autopost as well as using FilterSet-G to ban your ads.
I agree that it is technically possible, but wakabi is still very underground, not very user-friendly, and while it's content driven, it's entirely a different market; you can sell them JPop and humpable pillow covers.. but, pay for porn? Doubt it.

The thing is, I think the format could work with other audiences as well. The other day, I saw someone on /b/ asking how he could open a rar file. That, to me, signifies that the format appeals to a fairly broad audience, not just the computer-savvy.
Move away from weeaboos and toward general porn surfers (remove the japan-themed aspects of the sites), and it could work well.
