    anyone know of a good page ripper/spider

    i wanted something that would spider would be able to spider a collection of galleries

    rework the html references so that they would become absolute instead of relative links.

    that way i could host the html on my site but hotlink the content on the other site.

                  FHG but only if the sponsor gives me permission

                  i realize if they didn't give me permission the htaccess file could block the attempts to the movies.

                  i need to add a custom footer to all the galleries , guess i could do it with a frame but it looks so unprofessional.

                  for those who don't want to i would just load the galleries on my server and then replicate the html pages to the other 300 + domains with their own unique footer

                      yeah it'll work on most FHGs, some of them use php or robot or some other things to block 'grabbers' but that's like 5-10% of the sponsors I guess

                          i looked up program you were talking about

                          i was looking for something would take something like this

                          and where ever it sees a relative link reference like "images/index_02.jpg"
                          would change it to http://galleries.adult.com/reality/e...s/index_02.jpg

                          and then save resulting file.

                          The one you talked about seems to download the images and rewrite the links to local copies only.
