Godaddy.com is used by alot of people on here without any problems and they are reasonable. Dotster.com is also good (I use them pretty much exclusively now) but they are a little more expensive.

All my domains are at namecheap.com.
I have been using it for 5 years now.

Also, it's plus that DNS changes instantly, so you don't have to
wait 24-48 hours for to propagate.

Steer clear of 1and1

Wouldn't go with 1and1. Their T & C's say it's O.K. (as long as there is no child porn, beastiality, etc... DUH!)

ive never heard of a registrar shutting your domain down for it being an adult-related site.
i'd go with godaddy or registerfly. 8 or 9 bucks per .com domains
