    some webmasters are fucking stupid idiots. check this out....

    A company selling partner accounts on TGP:s (a very smart company with a good idea I wish I had) recently opened a board. I spent a few minutes reading the posts. One of the topics was from the company asking webmasters what pass they would like to have added so they can buy it.

    10+ replys follows with TGP:s at the moment 100% free, costs nothing to be listed on and suggest those TGP:s!!!!

    I mean WTF????

    Someone even wanted thehun added. Fucking idiots.

          Well, ive mentioned this 100 times now in the submit partnerpasses threads. Everytime Ray adds a new pass all the monkeys go "way to go ray! Top notch Ray" without realizing that they are the ones who end up paying for something that used to be free.

              I know the foum & the thread you're talking about and every tgp mentioned only offers paid passes. Maybe in the past they offered free passes...

                                          Less competition because people actually have to pay some money to have a chance to get listed.
                                          Then again...you allready know this since you have submitpasses freakin hypocrite.

                                              you don't have to like the idea to use it. there isn't much choice these days. pretty much all the big tgps are now pay for play.
                                              you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..

                                                  When a big tgp is free you get listed like once a month on average. When it offers a submitpass you get listed more often and make more profit.
                                                  You can pay the pass with the extra money you made and I am sure there will be some extra profit left.
                                                  Thats how it works nowadays.
                                                  I prefer paying $200 and make a profit of $1000 over not paying anything and making a profit of $100.

                                                              i don't know. all the good ones are sold out. i'd love to try and drop 1 or 2k on partner accounts just to see but there are more profitable areas that i need to spend time on as well. i haven't submitted since 2003. just got to be too much work for the return. now if traffic and quality of traffic has doubled because of this, it might be worth while but with a chunk of money being taken by every tgp for submitting, you gotta take that into account too.

                                                                      Until the TGP market evolves once again, everyone should realize it is pay to play. The payed submit pass game is a tough one though. Results can vary so much submitter to submitter. The main problem I see is that some of these TGPs think their passes are worth $35 - $70 per month, and end up only listing 2 - 5 of your galleries per month thinking you'll make plenty of profit from that. To make things worse, a lot of these TGPs dont want you promoting sites that have any consoles, or any "overused" content. So basically, you cant use to best converting sponsors that pay $35 PPS.
