    Auto recall of url's

    Ok..... Ya know how you type a url in, and anything close to the url you are typing in will show up if you have visited that site before.

    Is there a way to stop this?

    ...and you morons with the quick snappy answer about the crap i can buy (most likly from your web site), can GFY.

    ... To others.... I thank you for any help you may offer.

      Goto Internet Options
      Goto Advanced
      Underneath Browsing - uncheck "Useinline AutoCOmplete for Addresses"

      I have never tried it, but that should do the trick.

      Oh - and please buy all the stuff below

          In IE 5.5 (not sure on others but I bet its the same) go to:<br /><br />

          Tools > Internet Options > Content > (inside personal information - bottom) Autocomplete.

          <br /><br />
          You can choose how you want it to work from there. Or you can always just clear the history from time to time. There is also a way to delete individual entries but no idea how. Hope this helps.<br /><br />

              Hey.... i just wanted to say Thanks to both you guys.

              I tried both of your suggestions.... and was sucssesful.

              The route that worked for me, ( i'm IE 5.5) was to follow AdamnairXXX advice.... going to "content"

              But i certainly thank you both for your help!

              This thing has annoyed me for a long while...and you helped me get rid of it.

              Again.....

                  I actually like it - the thing that bother me is it seems so slow most of the time - and I know others with the same complaint.

                  I just don't get why it has to be so slow.

                  Oh well...

                      The embarasing truth is .... i wanted it gone because i investigated selling love dolls.

                      If i typed in "sex" or "dolls"... i looked pretty fucking bad... if ya know what i mean??.... forget the fact that we do this for money

                      But before the "The embarasing truth" about me...... it was to slow to even have on the system
