theking is right in one respect though. There are several here on GFY that have posted negativity about the US government, and that in and of itself isn't necessarily a bad thing. In fact the same sort of ridiculous ridicule gets thrown at Canada and Canadians too (and a lot of times it's by Americans, oddly enough).

Fact is no one who has any pride in their own country likes to read posts where some foreign idiot is cocking off at them and running down their country. I can't fault theking for speaking up against such idiots, I know I would... and have, and likely will again.
