Actually if it wasnt for the russians in ww2, there is a good chance everyone in europe would be speaking german. 400k americans gave their lives and where over 10 million russian soldiers died.

Not a chance, Patton's 3rd Army was on a pace to steam roll all the remaining troops of the Third Reich as was shown at the Ardennes offensive. It?s to bad Roosevelt, Bradley and Eisenhower put a leash on him and didn?t allow him to push reds right into hell.
