The _real_ thing is supposed to be very effective. I dont know about the stuff you can buy online, but I guess its just mumbojumbo. Word is, Pfizer tried to synthesize the hoodia substance, but gave up because it was to expensive.

Well, from the ads I've heard (don't take this as fact but as a selling pitch), Hoodia is supposed to fool the brain that you're not hungry so you won't have cravings to eat. Not really a great way to lose weight in my opinion, but I'm sure it'll sell with that angle.Originally posted by pornguy
