There were a few black birds there doing the same thing. They have nowhere near the superb flight control of the seagull though. The black birds would brush their claws on your hand when they swoop on the cracker. That was kinda scary.
The seagulls though, they don't even touch you. Plus, if you throw a cracker in the air, they will catch it! Being there and seeing how precise they are when they are in flight, it's really cool. They might be dirty birds, but they have amazing flight control abilities.
I'm still editing the video and playing around with rendering it to a reasonable file size, so I can throw it up on youtube.
