    ImLive ratios are shit?? Just maybe this is why.....

    These errors occur on multiple servers of mine so it's not on my end... I monitor 2 other cam sites and of the 3, imlive consistently (I've been tracking this stuff for over a year now) has connectivity problems... of course.. you only have to surf the site for awhile to see the same damn thing... Pussycash has been notified on several occasions about this and they do squat to fix it... Even their hosts comment on the crappy technical side of things... Why am I bringing this up? Because I like the site and would like it to be the best around...

                                                  If you're not converting with PussyCash, it's not due to technical issues. There are a LOT of webmasters clearly doing very well with them.

                                                  So while it's noble you want to help them with their technical problems, blaming that for your poor conversions is a cop-out, and weak. - and typical of so many webmasters Try looking on your side of things first.

From someone advertising web cam sites with affiliate links in your sig... I'm not some newb.. I know very well all the factors that go into bad and good ratios...

That's a bogus statement that they always pull out whenever there's a bunch of WMs bitching about ratios. There's no proof behind it so it means absolutely nothing. And just to be clear... Even IF there was a list, it would mean squat... The "WMs" doing well could/would be the ones that upsell from inside members areas or those that have traffic that is specifically looking for webcams as opposed to the majority of the affiliates which will have freeloader porn surfers from TGPs etc. Those types of affiliates will always do better than the ones with the freeloader traffic..

                                                              Regardless, anyone that thinks that the site being 500 or having insane slow loading pages, or having cam hosts that the surfer can't connect to.. or get dropped from (a consistent problem with imlive) won't have a real negative impact on conversions and long term revshare, clearly doesn't have a clue. It really shows a persons mindset when they speak out against improvements to a site that would even imporove their conversions and revenue.

I cant believe any hosts stay with them when iFriendsv2 pays their hosts 50% regardless, and 100% if they refer the customer to the platform. My iFriends clickcash account converts 100x better too. :: shrugs ::

                                                                                  Ummm minnie...that sales pitch sounds like you cut/pasted it from the chathost section of ImLive - which probably means it was aimed at chathosts not affiliate webmasters. :: scratches head ::

                                                                                  Also, I'm pretty sure iFriends v2 is the #1 live video chat site on the net, they've been around a lot longer, have more chathosts, and their affiliate program converts 100x better.

                                                                                  I've been known to make mistakes though, so if you can back up your claim that ImLive is the #1 live video chat site on the web, I'm all ears.

                                                                                      Pussycash has for years been one of the biggest and most successful webcam programs. They didn't get that way by not converting or retaining - or having so many tech issues that customers stay away.

                                                                                      Now THAT is brilliant insight. Of course, members area-provided visitors or those that can from targeted sites are going to do better. You're not making any point with that observation.

                                                                                      Obviously tech issues don't help. Over the years Imlive has had a few, sure. But I'm confident they are working on it and will get things corrected. iFriends, as one person pointed out, has had more errors than any webcam site I've seen. One in particular, a very simple one it would seem, has not been fixed in at least 5 months even after I've contacted them about it.

                                                                                      But I still promote them and do well. I've also seen typical numbers with Imlive during this technical issue. So it would be fair, I think, to suggest that possibly you're poor conversions aren't a result of tech issues. Sales also fluctuate for everyone. So is it not possible there are other factors?

                                                                                      Oh and I should note that most of your replies in this thread are more than a little bitter and sarcastic. May I suggest chilling out a bit? Perhaps that's part of the reason you've made some of your assumptions? Nothing makes a webmaster more pissed than not making as much money as they hope. If your traffic has converted with Imlive then I'm sure it will continue to do so.

In fact, my numbers indicate it's a lot less but they "fake" it by allowing chathosts to have a lot of names on their system unlike the other ones. Their policy has had other detrimental effects which have included driving away a lot of great chat hosts in 2 of the niches I promote so that it's now filled with hosts that don't fit the niche and have 10+ profiles.. All of that just ends up turning off the people with the credit cards.

                                                                                          As far as the ratios.... I went to ImLive because the iFriends ratios were declining (when they changed their system to be more complicated and with the fanclub stuff, it had a negative impact on revenue and conversions)... iFriends still makes me slightly more money but it's pretty close these days.

                                                                                                  I'm "bitter" because day after day I see these errors reported in my system and they don't give a fuck because they don't do shit.. or at least they never do "enough"... I'm serious.. ok.. maybe not "every" day.. but definately on a weekly basis... I don't suffer fools very well and that includes ANY program that has a stick up their ass...
