    Which do you prefer?
    A lot of competition between the two and it looks like family guy has been taking over, but who can forget about the longest cartoon series in history!

          looks like people like the original.. i voted simpsons too.
          people argue family guy does stuff that simpsons did already.. but i mean afterlike 400 episodes.. its bound they do something similar

              uhhh.... family guy has gone down hill.... the simpsons are still holding up over all this time which is amazing. Family guy's first couple seasons beat any simpsons season though. Latest family guy is probably a bit under the simpsons lifetime "average"

                                          I would have to vote Simpsons. Family Guy is probably funnier based on todays standards but to be honest, Family guy only makes me laugh the first time I see it because the gags are all unexpected which makes them funnier than they really are. On the other hand, I can still catch a re-run of a Simpsons episode I've seen 100 hundred times and still really enjoy it. I doubt I or anyone will say the same about Family Guy episodes in ten years.

                                          I admit, Family Guy has made me bust out laughing plenty of times but the Simpsons is a real work of art when you consider the comedy was consistently strong for the first ten seasons and the way it was woven with a true sensibility that few live action shows even have.

                                          It's funny, when the Simpsons first came out it was considered an outrage and schools were banning the t-shirts and all this other nonsense. Now it's considered a "feel good" family show...lol!

                                                                                  I once enjoyed the Simpsons; they had great writers up to the mid-90s. Family Guy is nothing but gay and fart jokes with zany flashbacks. (No, I won't watch Scrubs, either, for this same reason.)

                                                                                                              South Park is the best! They push everything to far and I love it. Sometimes it makes you cringe a little lol.. Family Guy is cool, but the Simpson's have been around for a long time. It's almost part of the family. I mean I sat threw episodes I've watched 4-5 times already and I'm not bored of them.
