Christian religions are just as non-tolerant and are just as uncompromising as any other religion... And if it came down to it, they would fight against the laws of the land if it was at odds with their faith... At their core, all religions HAVE to be.. It's what the bible actually teaches them... BUT... in order to keep the money rolling in and the asses in the pews, they "soft" the dogma to appear more tolerant etc. Don't fool yourself... Why are NA muslims more tolerant etc.? Money.. A "softening" of the dogma in order to make it more comfortable for them... If Christianity actually followed the bible the way they're supposed to, they'd be just as bad... There are no shades of grey for god...
