Every brewer/brewery knows this fact... if a beer comes in a clear or green bottle, it generally means that the company places the value of marketing (after all, clear and green bottles look "cool") over the quality of their product.

That's why, to this day, I think whatever exec at Corona said "let's put a lime in our beer" was a genius... he offered a solution that both gave the beer a gimmick, and covered the usually inherant skunky taste that the beer had due to transport.

A little sidefact for ya: In Holland, domestically, Heineken come in brown bottles. They only put their exports in the green.
