    E107 on a Porn Site

    HI, My name's Annie from girlsoutwest.com. I've been running my site for a couple of years now and am renovating the aesthetics and seriously contemplating using E107 as my CMS. I currently use a CMS supplied by my hosting company (GMedia) it's easy to use but has it limitations to supply more features which will take my site to the next level.

    I'm curious to know if other adult webmasters have any experience with E107 software? I'm especially concerned about security and the limitations of their Photo Galleries.

    It would appear that to customise E107 to suite an adult site the Geek/Programmer/Web Dude would need comprehensive knowlege of PHP, CSS etc in order for it to be adapted for a pay site.

    Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

                  I've never used e107 for an adult site... I used it for an intranet and a vendor portal for two companies for a few years. I'd have to see the site and get an idea of what you want to do with e107 to say for sure. e can be pretty top heavy at times... It's not the most responsive piece of code out there.

                      You would be better to use another free cms, JOOMLA ( was before the split the team of MAMBO ).

                      It is way more supported, in various languages, and with many free plugins, and also some that you have to buy ( like to protect a members section ).

                      For free, it is OK.

                      Otherwise, pay the licence fee and get sitedepth.... on the long run, you will save time, which is money...
                      I know that Asspimple is stoopid ... As he says, it is a FACT !

                      But I can't figure out how he can breathe or type , at the same time ....

                          hello,

                          if I use joomla as blog software, does it handle tons of traffic better than wordpress? Does it have such a thing like the cache plugin for wordpress integrated already? :-)

                          Any examples of high traffic joomla sites?
