    PK & Replacing Links

    I have two links on PK at the moment, which is the maximum you're allowed. How do you replace a link? You have a choice between:

    1) Add this link
    2) Update this link (for URL changes, # of image changes, etc. Please state what you are updating.)

    I assumed you'd used option 1, and that PK would choose which URL already listed to remove, and that option 2 was for changes to the URL, or the number of images, but I've been told you choose "update this link" and indicate the URL you want it to replace.

    Does anyone know for sure?

      People do it many different ways. The one thing you don't want to do is to *not* tell me to change one out because then I think you're just trying to add more than the max.

      Some people send a "delete" submission to remove one of the two older sites stating in the description that a new site is on its way. Then they do an "add" submission to add the new listing right behind the delete.

      Some people send an add submission and mention in the description which site the new one is replacing.

      And some people send an update submissions and mention the site to be removed in the description.

      Any of the above will work. The difference between the second and the third is that you won't see an email confirmation that I received the "update" submission form. Those only go out when I get an "add".

          Whatever you do PK, do not put an erasercash link up. No one wants you to take all the cash and win all the cars.

              I looked at erasercash the other day. Been approached by many similar. I'm still mulling it over. Besides.. I only have a 3 car garage and my son's car takes up one spot. I don't even have room for the Jag I have my eye on...the soccer mom in me has ordered a new Limited Explorer to replace the one I've been driving. Wouldn't do me any good to win.. just ask ARS about the reward points of racked up and not used yet.

                  Thanks for your help. I just wish the instructions on the submission page were clearer. I'm still finding out just how PK works.

                          Didn't know you hung out here. Just wanted to say thanks for the decent traffic you seem to send. You've been a hell of a lot more of a pleasure to submit to than the other "big boys" out there.

                          Anyways, figured a good word is always helpful.

                                  i rmemeber surfing pk when i was like 15. and submitting my weak ugly sites when i was 16. my sites were really weak and ugly back then thas y i never got listed probbaly.
