I bet GGW banked on this the past 2 days.
Who needs affiliates when your site is getting millions of free hits from media publicity?
I understand business is business, but with affiliates sending millions of hits to GGW tours (without Ashley) one can just imagine how many sales were lost. Just adding one picture of Ashley to one of the affiliate tours like they did the main page would've generated thousands of more sales.
The hype is starting to die a little, I can see it in my search engine traffic.
Just need to stay on top of the news waiting for the next train wreck.

That is absurd. If they had legal concerns she would not be on the main page tour. When surfers get sent to a tour without any promo for Ashley they just type in the main page tour and see what they find (and no the Nats code does not transfer over as any traffic sent to the join page off the main page tour gets a new Nats code inserted). They just don't see any need to give affiliates a cut when they are getting all the money from type ins. When the type ins die down then they will let affiliates in on it. Too bad the announced the first night that affiliate links and promo would be ready at 3 AM.... and then never delivered.бабки, шлюхи, силаComment

Same here, mine are 1:210 and machete showed me a screenprint of his stats...1:112 I think. I bet 90% of the signups are for the $4.99 trial just for a glimpse of ashley then cancel - w/ affiliates making 30-35 pps. There is definitely more to this than meets the eye.

Are there any pictures of her inside that aren't on the front page? If I were a surfer, I'd be charging back in a heartbeat if I saw the front page and there weren't any flashing pics inside. What may be "tons of traffic" today could be a charge back nightmare tomorrow.

To be honest the first thread said content would be live by 3am that day.
It seems to be now 3 days later.
I fail to see why a tour was not set up within one min, even if it was a text only page and no pics of her.
OK, it does feel that this has just been a good way to get affiliates.
The downside for GGW is that in the long run webmasters will not wish to promote them with such poor response.
There is not even any fhg or anything in the affiliate side for webmasters.
There is no technical problems, you simply add a new tour page or alter an original one.
It takes 10 mins max.
Considering the chap from GGW was arrested and put in prison you would think the firm would be doing there best to look good.
This is not at all good enough.
Any other system would have had things up as quick as they could to get sales.
As I say, its rather poor. How hard is it to post a few sample screen shots or somthing on this site?Comment

There is a tour with Ashley on it. Look at www.girlsgonewild.com. She has been up since yesterday morning. They are just not allowing affiliates to send traffic to that tour. If you send traffic to that tour your Nats code is overwritten with another code on the join page.
It is no technical issue it is just a business decision. I disagree with it but it is their right to do it how they want.бабки, шлюхи, силаComment

Confuses me that they are putting her up on their front page and advertising "more inside $29.99/m" they are exposed to some serious misleading and advertising issues. Especially with the spotlight on them you would think they would use more caution. Going to pass on promoting...

the exit pops are a separate issue and the implementation wasn't done correctly. That's not a 5 minute fix.

Unfortunately I think the tour/promos will be posted *after* the hype has worn down and those 1:200 ratios will be 1:1000+.

Coming from 3 years of being a NATS consultant working for 30-40 different programs... Yes, yes it is. If your tech guys can't fix the popup code in a reasonable time (maybe not 5, but more like 20) on something as crucial as popping exits on non-popup traffic (way to make your tgp submitting affiliates lose their partner accounts), you need new tech guys.Comment
