Beware of new MSN Messenger Update
I've had the very uncomfortable inconvenience of my MSN getting hacked. I did not download the "click for hot pic, i remember you from school" worm thats been going on. This was rather brute, unstoppable and by the time I had a chance to have MSN wipe/reset my account this person already started contact people on my list soliciting loans, cam viewings and more.
TIPS TO NOT GET HACKED:
. Use your software firewall smartly, do not accept weird port requests
. Make sure passwords in MSN, local email, ftp and facebook/communities all differ
. Clear temporary files on your system, they can contain login info
. Use adaware (free - download.com) to erradicate privacy/hack threats
. do not provoke people who hack your account
