Well I am not around for 5 years.

Started in Livecams 4 years ago, then went somehow here, dealing with the biggest companies in the business, and proud of it.

Effort is always great, but the key is to work smarter and more effectively, to focus on concrete points that you want to achieve every day, and, as in my case - also to get more relax and time off.

Remembering very well how much energy I wasted with worthless cases and worthless people..

Yeah, agreed on this. What's interesting on this and other comments is that sometimes it's the "grunt work" that keeps you able to keep yourself fresh. Understanding what it takes to actually get something live versus just asking someone else to put it live or market something.

Couldn't have said it better myself! If you're not down in the trenches on a daily basis it's very easy to lose sight of the "current reality" of the industry.

I have been 9 years in this business, all I can say is that now in my 33 I put less effort in everything that I do, except on the effort that I do for keeping a cool life.

Automation was a huge time saver years ago now it is a necessity to survive. The pie got bigger but there are way more looking for a piece making it harder to make money. Many are giving up which is great for those that stick with it and willing to work harder for a buck.

About the same, but it's picking up these days. I feel its going to get busier too since I joined a team that has some big plans and I want to be part of it. My goal is to retire at 40, then play poker in different countries around the world for the rest of my days

I only have 3 years in but the workload seems to be growing exponentially. I guess if it wasn't, we wouldn't be successful so I try not to complain too much great post Alli

Haha, I love the giving up stuff. I must admit I have evil thoughts occassionally wishing others give up.

Probably easier to calculate the hours not in the chair. ; )

But about the giving up ... I think people are just now realizing what all the other affiliate program owners were complaining about all those years. We had a spurt of programs open up because everyone and their brother thought the money was in affiliate programs and you could just use NATS/MPA have a few sites get a rep and then, viola! be rich overnight.

I always expressed that programs were more work to run than people thought and I think that is finally catching up with people.
