    Sponsors: Your Private Data Is At Risk Again!

    "webmaster/affilliate sponsor statistics software"

    What do they receive as compensation for their long hours invested in development and continued support? Read below ;)

    Do affiliate referrals really cover costs? I doubt it...

    Is sponsor advertisement paying the way? Not a chance..

    Its all about Data Mining and affiliate statistic retrieval software such as Nifty Stats, Unified Stats, and Remote Stats. Nifty Stats says they are doing it, so who else is?

    The information collected from hundreds, maybe thousands of webmasters is worth a lot of $$$, as sponsors would love to know what their competition are doing in regard to sales, what tours are converting, traffic details, sources, etc..

    As a program owner/sponsor I would be very worried as all my sales data, traffic data, webmaster data, etc could be sold to my competition.
    T3 Data Auditing, encrypted.... could potentially harm your business one day...

    The Adult Industry is not exempt from corporate spying.... don`t you get caught with your pants down ;)

                  Just to be clear...regarding UnifiedStats, we have operated for years on ad revenue alone...and it's been used by hundreds and hundreds of webmasters during this time. All data (stats, programs used, passwords, ect resides on the client computer only, and is in no way, shape or form transmitted elsewhere).

                  On top of having all kinds of webmasters using Unified, some of the largest and most respected programs in our industry have trusted us with their names in our product...many, for several years now.

                      There's both good and bad in the world... and You may think a tinfoil hat is necessary from time to time... but I'm not assuming ALL services abuse their users/clients.

                      UnifiedStats have my trust, and have had it for quite some time now

                              Nope, I said that we CAN create a data mining system as apart from other things we are also doing a custom programming... but this has definitely nothing to do with Nifty Stats!

                              Nifty Stats is 100% secure, all data are saved on the client computer only and the only communication that ever proceeds is between the client computer and his affiliate programs. We have no access to the data!
                              I am just a bit surprised and quite disappointed by the fact how it's easy to accuse anyone without a proof just because he "doubts". Well, all I can recommend to PainThing is create a tool (a useful tool, in preference), offer it for free and you'll see that affiliate referrals really cover costs and that sponsor advertisement is paying the way. In addition, it also allow us to continue and improve our tools.

                                              I used to think "make money from ads? yea, right, who are they kidding, there's gotta be some catch"... but now when I think about it, their banner spots are the best one could possibly buy, all the viewers of those banners are actual webmasters that actually send sales... they probably charge an arm and a leg for them...

                                                  Dead on..most of our advertisers have been with us for years...

                                                  Not a whole lot of places to reach hundreds of active, adult webmasters out there...and in Unified, you reach them when they have business/stats on their mind.

                                                  A single, productive webmaster can more than pay for a program's advertising campaign on Unified...and the branding/contact with your existing affiliates also has a definite value.
