Ya know what would happen if they kicked out the 12 million illegals? The companies would have to pay US citizens what they should be paying in the first place. Prices will go up a little, but then open market competition will bring them back down. Those extra 12 million US citizens will be able to buy a house, and the tax rolls will grow, which in turn will make our school system better, and on and on and on.

Surely you agree that keeping the law abiding working people is acceptable, but weeding out the violent offenders, drug peddlers, etc is worthwhile... or do you think we should accept them with open arms also?
As for the other comments about 12 million jobs vanishing... If you were to:
1. Seal the borders, as best as possible to limit the new arrivals.
2. Process and deport all criminals
3. Process and deport those abusing the system (welfare, tax evasion, etc.) - non-violent crime
This issue has been dealt with other countries many, many times dating back to the Roman Empire. Unchecked immigration is the demise of a country. NO immigration is the demise of a country. There has to be a balance.
Right now it is almost impossible for our Eastern European friends to enter the USA. Try bringing in an 18 - 30 year old female... almost impossible to get a tourist visa, let alone a green card!! I have tried. So is it fair that we restrict legal immigration while our southern border is being overrun?
Stop turning this into a political debate, it is a sovereign nation state debate!

i live in a city that is massively full of illegal aliens. i have spoken with a lot mexican guys who speak some english and many are working under the table and sending half their money to mexico. so they are not contributing any taxes to a city and state that are having trouble making ends meet and they are sending money out of our economy.
but the thing that really frustrates me is those mexican flags. i know a surprising number of people who have lived here illegally for 15 or 20 years and still consider themselves mexican citizens. they don't bother to protest anything else because they don't really care that much what happens to us here. if after 15 years they still don't associate themselves with this country that they live in, raise their kids in, work in, why are they here at all?Got Gay and For Women Traffic?
