The past two weeks I've been living in Northern California as I settle into my new job. The pressures of the new job, problems with my hotel registration, attending to a dozen personal matters once in Phoenix, and finding time to do the family thing was a bit too much. For me personally it went down as smooth as possible, with one exception - I failed to properly stock up on my favorite drink.
However, when under pressure I tend to be rather resourceful. I also have friends in high places.
With the above in mind, I'd like to thank the following people who helped to ensure I was properly supplied.
Juicy
Shortly before 2am one night Juicy was kind enough to allow me to charge a bottle of Jager to his room, which was promply delivered by room service properly chilled. I owe you $106 for this service. (Getting a bottle of Jager delivered is a bit expensive through room service.)
Barry of Webcam Cash
Another night, no Jager. I ran into Barry in the hall and explained my problem. Barry prompty gave me his room key and told me to have at it. I also owe you $106. The check is in the mail.
Joes Ho
I ran into Joe in the lobby of the hotel, where he reminded me that last time I met up with him he drank a fair portion of my Jager bottle. Either he holds his booze better than me or has better memory, being as I don't recall this event. Joe was shopping for booze and remembered this event, and bought me a nice gift.
Thanks to all three of the above for their part in keeping me and a handful of others intoxicated during the Phoenix Forum.
(PS: Jack, this isn't my official shout out thread so stop bitching already!)
