    Happy Daylight Saving Day

Change your clocks... and don't worry, Bush decided to fuck with this day too...

"On August 8, 2005, President George W. Bush signed the Energy Policy Act of 2005. This Act changed the time change dates for Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. Beginning in 2007, DST will begin on the second Sunday of March and end the first Sunday of November. The Secretary of Energy will report the impact of this change to Congress. Congress retains the right to revert the Daylight Saving Time back to the 2005 time schedule once the Department of Energy study is complete."

In Australia they extended daylight saving for a week because of the commonwealth games... kinda confusing since many computers went back an hour on the usual (wrong) day.

An unforseen side-effect of this change is that Canada will pretty much have to follow suit in order to maintain a logically conducted business relationship with the States.

That is the one good thing he has done. I think DST should be year round.

I usually don't know anything about DST starting or ending until I see a reminder on TV... or notice my comp clock changes.

There's always at least one clock I forget that makes me panic for a few moments when I see it. Yesterday we were going to a place that closes at 5pm and my car clock read 4:45. It was only 3:45pm, of course...
