Actually the primary reason they do it is for legal reasons. You are less likely to have a complaint against a female officer doing a search on a female than a male doing it on a female.I think (but dont know) that when you see female police dealing with females it's usually a curteousy, not a requirement. The less they feel the subject would be embarassed or traumatized, the less likely they'd be to arrange for a female officer.

To be honest, all Melissa would have to do is say that the two cops fondled her in the back. She's a good looking girl which makes it very believable. The fact that a female cop was denied along with a bodyguard being present makes it even more odd.

Laws and ordinances aren't just to punish bad people.. They also protect citizens by preventing gov't from making up their own rules as they go..
But at the end of the day, Melissa will do what she feels she needs to do, with the advice of her attorney..
Personally, I think her attorney will play golf with the city attorney, who will agree to tear up the ticket and drop charges against the club owner, and her attorney will oblige by telling her to just let it go this time.... Then see what happens at her next appearance..Comment

I work out of my home so I don't really want to give everyone my home address! I just built a brand new house on a lake with a studio and a big office to do all my work so there is no reason for an outside office. I will deal with the 2257 issue if it comes up but I don't think it will be an issue but if it does I will rent out a small space to be in compliance. I am not trying to brag about what I make but people were acting like I was this dumb girl making no money and have no clue about anything. We are talking about simple misdemeanor charges and people sue the police and the city all the time even in little ole Lincoln, NE. From what I have heard all the city attorneys are scared to even touch the case because the cops may have been in the wrong the whole time. If I felt I was breaking the law I would not be fighting this but I have one of the best attorney's here in Lincoln and he told me what I was using to cover my breasts is perfectly legal and they are just trying to scare me into stopping what I do becasue they don't like it. Then comply to the very letter..
If they have a problem with you acting like you're performing oral sex on a night stick, don't do it.. I doubt that the customers will flock to the exit if you leave that out of your show.
