Okay here are the stats I'm going to bed- not sure how the table is going to work out but here goes:

First off let?s look at some facts:
Credit Cards ACH/Checks
Decline rates 33% 12%
Revoke Rates vs. Trial to 1st rebill * 50% 20-30%
Drop after 1st rebill 25-27% 15%
Retention (X = average retention) X 2X
Processing fees 10-15% 15%
* There are no trials on checks

So let?s plug some numbers in there apples to apples you know and we?ll go with worst case for ACH/Checks and best case for credit cards.

So off the top you will get 21% more sign ups through on checks. But we?ll start with 100 sign ups of each.

The problem with this analysis is comparing TRIAL credit cards to NONTRIAL checks.

More people will signup with a trial that without a trial, that's why we do it.

We have been doing check trials and are analyzing the #s.

Soon as in yes it will actually be ready. It's not our product, but to give JB credit, he's stuck with this deal and it's a monster to try and work out --

Checks can add about 10% to your bottom line, give or take a couple points either way, dialers are good for recovering income you wouldn't get any other way (ie no cc, no check) but credit cards still remain the mainstay of the industry and will until something with the amount of distribution that Visa has comes along to push them out of the way.

checks have been pretty good to me with lensmans cashtour thing. since 7/30 I've had 103 signups. 8 of them have been checks for a full month signup ( one revoke so I guess that # is actually 7 checks) so about 1:15 signups with checks so far, not too bad.
