    How much BW do you burn daily?

    Think im burning a way too much bw per day. 10.000 users burn an avarage of 17,3gb on a simple picture blog per day! Looks a waaaay too high to me. So how do your numbers look like compared to mine?

      1. Descrease weight of your photos deleting it's meta. Use "jhead" for that. Or just move all graphics to another hosting provider with lower prices for BW and make them to load through ip or sub-domain.

      2. Use compressing for html files. For apache here is the mod : http://www.innerjoin.org/apache-compression/howto.html

      I don't really know any other methods of decreasing BW.

          Here is data for one of my blogs:
          1500 visits, 6800 page views, ~2.3Gb of BW

          PS: I'm using sponsor hosted galleries.

              damn...bw is ultra cheap these days...I have FLV videos anywhere between 5mb to 10mb...and 35k unique visitors a day(no skim).

                                              cuts down a couple hundred $$ each month but doesnt hit me that hard. Dont wanna switch to an US hosting provider, course 70% of my traffic is from europe. Any recommends?

                                                  Try to do s/th with Google Images traffic. If you are running pic blog - I think you have too much traffc from Google Images. It converts really bad, but clicking very good. Think of selling this traffic or s/th like that. But I can't guarantee that Google will appreciate it.
