It's illegal. Any aspect of it. Of course, if you are Thai you can get away with it with no worries.

its illegal ... especially if you're shooting it here or are involved with thai people in any way.. if you just work on your foreign porn sites from within thailand, whilst technically illegal, as long as you dont go around telling everyone your line of work you're cool.... with that said, 98% of the ppl i know who shoot porn here or do webcam stuff have not had any problems with the law.Crypto HODLr

Illegal. Everything is illegal in Thailand, even prostitution believe it or not.
It never means you can't do it of course, only that they can nail you if they want.
If you just arrived in Thailand, don't do it.
If you've been here a while, stay low key you can get away with it.
If the son of the chief of police is your golf partner, you can do whatever you want.

It's that 2% that causes all the problems. Then there is another 10% that will get caught sooner or later.
The bottom line is to not let ANYONE, especially the Thais, know what you are up to. If nobody knows, they odds of you getting caught are between slim and none. Though I did read something about how Thailand is now scanning what is being downloaded and viewed online so use a VPN or something.Comment

Bad luck means no friend outside Thailand who could pay a nice sum to get you out the next day.
It's tempting, you live like a king with an average US income, but the risk to end up in something that makes hell look like a 5 star holiday resort isn't worth it in my opinion.Comment
