You are going to flip when you read this. Talk about separation of church and state.

    I don't get it... isn't this a good thing?

"Scientific and technical information from or about (space) agency programs and projects will be accurate and unfiltered," the new policy stated.

Eeeekkk they will refer to the big bang as a theory... Oh noes!

Oddly enough I have always heard it reffered to as the big bang theory, silly me.

Sure the big bang theory could be absolutely correct but then... what created the material the big bang started from? Things that make you go hmm.

If matter exists, it must have been created.
Therefore it must have a creator. Right?

BUT if matter has a creator, then a creator exists. (Call it God).
If a creator exists, God must have been created.
              Therefore God has a creator.

If God has a creator... let's call it Bob... then Bob exists.
If Bob exists, it must have been created.
Therefore Bob also has a creator. Call that one Shirley.

All hail Shirley, creator of Bob, creator of God, creator of the Universe. And hail whoever created Shirley too....

oh, wait, that's me. Hail me!

None of you have been paying attention.

The big bang theory is silly because the matter could not have already existed. It's obvious that God has always existed. You can verify this fact by simply asking most gun toating Southerners that call abortion murder and killing in an unjust war OK.

The point of the article that alarmed me was that some Bush appointed flunky decided he had the right to edit and control the administration's data because of his religous beliefs.

NASA is a science application administration. They cannot risk the lives of others because of Bush's 'Spooky Politics' and his henchmen's ideologies.

Space exploration is some dangerous business. We've seen disasters. I've seen 4 in my lifetime and in ratio to the successes that's outstanding. It calls for hard science in the design and execution of these missions not hocus pocus stuff.

Yup, I agree there is no business bringing that bullshit into hard science that could cost people their lives.

Yes, that is bad news. But it came out a couple of months ago, I thought you were refering to the "new" news that NASA would have a more open policy.

The article didn't mention the censoring of the NASA weather expert who spoke about global warming.

Well that's why conspiracy theories thrive. Because of shit like this. They're censoring scientists and information so the imagination soars as to what the hell else they've covered up.
