    DAMMIT! A whole day wasted (Zango)

    I have no idea where it came from (my wife was using the computer this morning before I got up but I can't imagine it was anywhere she was surfing) --- but when I woke up yesterday morning my machine was *trashed*. I spent the WHOLE DAMN DAY AND EVENING releasing my computer from the grip of the entire suite of Zango crap (Zango, 180search, etc etc) as well as Smitfraud --- it took five different programs and hours of searching for them, to get rid of the whole mess.

    There should be a special place in hell reserved......

                      PLUS for some reason, even with everything gone, it's left my IE unstable...crashes a lot now, still have to figure that one out.

                              I always wondered about the liability in that. I remember when we offered legit downloadable software products and the occassional complaint we'd get from a user who's computer crashed for whatever random reason and how upset and the threats they would make (again totally real legit software like evidence cleaners, etc). I can't imagine how many zango must get when there is real proven damages associated with their product.

                                          I *have* other browsers...but I assume like most people I want to make sure all my stuff works and looks good in IE, since a majority of surfers still use it....

                                                  I had to clean a PC loaded with that crap recently. Makes ya love the stand up sponsors supporting this crap doesn't it?

                                                                                  I dual boot and vista got whacked by some fuckware that I struggled with for WEEKS before simply adjusting to XP (my other boot option) now when the day comes that XP fucks up on me I'll reinstall them both but for now I'm just not going to have Vista around LOL
