As a side note: Don't expect much suspense from these ;)
Their not big budget- the scary part is half of them are shot on VHS etc, so the special effects look real (well, more real than in squeaky clean high def.)

There was a large stink over Flowers of Flesh and Blood when some celeb mistook it for a real snuff movie :D

I've seen it, and wasn't impressed at all. Very bad acting, worse dialoges and
bad screen-play, the only thing that was decent was the theme. It could
have been a good movie if it was actually written and directed by Quentin
Tarantino himself.

in the version I saw in theatres he slit's the old man's throat in a bathroom, but I heard there was an alternate ending where he kidnaps the guy's daughter... which would be on the dvd

I have seen the guinea pig series a long time ago, we imported them directly from asia and sold them in our video store in holland for big bucks

First we had the samurai guy and we were not sure if this was real or not (snuff?), looks so damn real how this guy cuts the girl up , horrible.

But for whomever loves these kind of slasher movies, I recommend to see it some time. The samurai was my first and last....

That was flowers of flesh and blood (see above).

The others really aren't worth watching, with the exception of mermaid in a manhole, which, whilst still being totally gross, has a bit of plot

As a side note: This got me thinking last night.

How can this mix of porn and gore / terror be released publically - whereas if you placed those sorts of images next to each other online, you'd be fucked faster than you'd care to imagine?
