I realize that every relationship is unique in its own way...I know couples where each partner is so jealous that they flip out whenever their mate is caught talking to a member of the opposite sex, and these people aren't in the adult industry in any way. I also know people who are married who've been swingers for years and are very happy...people who aren't in the business whose S.O.'s are porn stars or escorts...people who are happily monogamous and couldn't imagine having it any other way.
I also realize that it's much easier for people to explain away the happy, supportive, successful porn industry relationships that are out there (few and far apart though they may be) by saying "Well, it must be about the money she brings home to her pimp"...or it must be about "his kink of watching his lady get banged by other men"...or something else to that effect.

That's a pretty uninformed response. There is no doubt a lot of suitcase pimps in this business who leach off their porn star spouses but if you look at many of the others, you'll see many couples that met in the business, both working successfully in their jobs. Believe it or not, I think it's actually harder for two couples who are BOTH shooting porn. A jealousy, competition and strange resentment can build up and the two either get bogged down by "cans and cants" on set or they go to the other extreme and just bang everyone on and off set, no rules, until someone can't take it anymore.

There is truth in the fact that many guys live off their girls. BUt there are many cases that the couples can seperate their lives, have their own careers and be almost a normal couple.
I make a salary at KSEX. I host TV shows in iNDemand, live events, etc. That's my money. It goes in my account and I use it to pay my personal bills.
Tyler shoots scenes for other companies. She feature dances on the road. She also hosts events at clubs, TV shows, etc. That is HER money and goes in her account.
As a couple, we both have equally invested in Team Tyler Productions. Any work that goes into that company, we both chip in evenly out of our own personal accounts and any profit from the company we both split evenly.
Obviously if one of us is having some down time in their entertainment careers (common) the other may help them out, but in general it's very precise and fair.
In the end, we don't really become sticklers to "this is your money" "this is my money"...we're a serious couple. We view it all as OUR money. But the point is, no one is mooching off the other. We work together--independently...if that makes any sense. LOLComment
