Ya, no support phone numbers at all. Kind of a pain in the ass if you have any serious problems.

Why would you need a phone number?
I've transfered tons of domains to them and bought a bunch of new ones. All went flawlessly.

He was implying that by your statement you also wouldn't do business with Google. Namecheap's email support is quicker than GoDaddy's phone support.

They don't offer support from those numbers. I tried calling those one time and all you get is an answering machine and they don't return your call if you leave a message asking for support.

99.9% of the time you wouldn't need to call them.

But if you happen to set off a red flag somehow in their fraud detection, it would come in handy. This happened to me when I first started using them. I purchased about 6 or 7 adult domains all on one day, so this must have looked suspicious to them.

Was a pain in the ass for me because once you trigger their fraud system, the only way you can get your account unlocked is to have them call you at home on the number you have listed in the whois. I never seemed to be home when they called so this went on for a week, and they couldn't arrange a specific time to make the call. They wouldn't let me call them, I had to be home when they called me or they wouldn't unfreeze the account.

Eventually I ended up having to email them a scan of my credit card and driver's license. Would have been much easier if I could have just called them on the phone.

Call Enom and see if they can answer your question. That's who Namecheap is an affiliate reseller for.

                                              could you please explain it?

when I check WHOIS for one of my domains registered with NameCheap, it is showing:

I'm in the process of moving all my domains over to namecheap as we speak. It has been very stressful because of the assfuck that runs domainnamesystems/cheapies, but namecheap has been very helpful and responsive.

PS. Don't touch domainnamesystems/cheapies with a ten foot pole, that guy is a complete prick.

And you sir are a spammer including your affiliate code. Nice to see the folks at Moniker support his sort of action but then again, this is nothing new.

I guess if it's ok with Monte their ceo it's ok with the rest of his minions. Classy organization.

when I check WHOIS for one of my domains registered with NameCheap, it is showing:

                                                      ICANN Registrar: ENOM, INC.
Hello Polish, any previously regged domains will remain at enom until you choose to transfer them. It's up to you as we will not pressure you to make a change. You will not see a difference in your control panel or in how you manage your domains.

All new registrations are now using our own dns system.

I usually use an old one from here. Directnic. I've had to call twice. Both times I had a human on the line within 3 minutes who spoke perfect English and resolved my problems right away with no bullshit whatsoever.

You don't like my posts? Put me on ignore or fuck right off. I'll say what I want.
