Please tell me how that works, and I'll repeat myself: in 1999 a small jet carrying pro golfer Payne Stewart had a tragic issue with oxygen on board, and all the people died not long into flight, and once they didn't respond to their transponder, F-16's were scrambled and had visual contact WITHIN 10 MINUTES.
How do 4 commercial airliners -- less that two years later -- do a 180 degree turn off course, fly into the largest US city and the Pentagon after 40+ minutes in flight, and NOTHING was done?
Again, enlighten me. I really want to know how that happens.
