I just read Disaster Capitalism by Naomi Klein, and although it's a little bit more on the socialist side of what I usually identify with it's pretty damn informative, and you can't help but despise the Republicans for raping the shit out of the American tax payer, as well as feel sorry for the average Iraqi whose country got turned into a hell hole warzone.
However I think the Democrats are even bigger fuckwits for losing the 2004 election, and doing what looks like their best to lose the upcoming elections by pitting a black guy called HUSSEIN OBAMA and a bitch that everyone snickers about against a benign middle aged white American war hero.
Barack looks great, and I would personally vote for him, but who in their right minds thinks that middle Americans would let a black muslim guy whose last name rhymes with Osama represent their country?
It seems to me everyone is holding back and treating him cordially while he's up against Hillary, but once he beats her... I think he'll pretty much be (burnt) toast against (white bread) McCain.
Then it'll be business as usual for the Republicans.
