    Ever had this happen before?

    Several sites hosted at 1 company. All on different class c ip's and 1 on an entirely different ip, one day magically they're all on the same class c and sequencial class d's. Apparently the host decieded to change all of my ip's without telling me.

    I may be looking for a new host soon...depending on the answer I get back as to WTF happened...

                      i dont really have server knowledge - whats the difference between class c IP and 'real' IP's? and what are the differences when it comes to SE's and linking between eachother?

                              i HAD an ip on a seperate 'a' but that all changed when they switched shit up. Now i've got

                              a.b.c.12
                              a.b.c.13
                              a.b.c.14
                              a.b.c.15

                              and there's a wee bit of interlinking going on so I hope i caught this before google did..

                                  what about different class c's linking to eachother or different class a's linking to eachother.. do the different class a linkbacks have more value then the different class c linkbacks or dont SE's really look at this - as long as the IP's are different (so C is the minimum)?

                                      if you interlink your own shit, c is the minimum safe distance.

                                      All is well now though
