    I'm thinking of buying this laptop.. Anyone got this? Good or bad?

          i have a T41 which is same thing but older. Its stood up well for 2 years of abuse, had to replace the mobo a month ago but ibm was good and did it over a weekend.

                  Nice...but still no firewire I've got the T40p & the only thing i dont like is there's no firewire.

                          right now, digital camcorders are the one's that uses firewire right? i guess i have to sacrifice that for the good specs that this laptop has..

                              I love my t41 thinkpad, id never buy another brand laptop.Hit me up i can probally get you a wicked deal on that t60 since i worked for ibm for 8 years and still get employee pricing

                                          Thinkpads suck ass compared to other makers. The only reason they are popular is because of large scale corporate buys for workers. IBM used to give the best prices for low end lappies.
                                          I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

                                                      Thanks but I'll try to buy to local dealers here in my country.. Also, I have to see the quality of the display before I'll make a go on this.
