They use it because they have to to enforce their abilities to resell it on iTunes. They don't want it, because that means they'd sell more iPods.
I was saying that they're being twofaced about the issue. They can't really profess one and settle with the other 'because they have to' - they're doing just what everybody else does, and going for the best case of where they can make the money. I don't blame them for it, but you can't claim that they're against DRM but just happen to have developed their own because they
had to.
